Loyalty to tango teachers

Jiamo
Over the years I have jumped from teacher to teacher, when I have had enough. Why? Maybe because my learning has stopped, maybe something about the teacher has irritated me, maybe because the grass is always greener on the other side.
Does everyone do this?
I have also found that some teachers treat you coldly if you leave them, as if you have "betrayed them" which I feel ridiculous!

I think it is completely natural to switch teachers, because teachers get stale. But you are right that very few tango teachers take it very badly if you leave them. That is their problem not yours.
